Marble Falls

Spent a couple of days at Julie's new lakehouse. Fun!
We checked out a couple of restaurants in Marble Falls:

Russo's Texitally Cafe:

Tough to find. Check the website for directions.
We had to wait for a table at 7:30 on a Thursday night, but this was unusual for a Thursday. It'd be a good bet to make a reservation for Friday or Saturday night, though. The owner helped us wait by pouring a Texas Pinot Noir, believe it or not. It was pretty good, but when we ordered an Oregon Pinot with our meal, we realized how raw the Texas Pinot was.
I was in shorts and flip flops, but probably would have felt better in slightly less casual attire.

Blue Bonnet Cafe:

This old standby was busy at 2PM on Friday. They serve Texas favorites, done right. Unfortunately, if you're trying to eat healthy, you're going to have a hard time here. Best bet: breakfast (crowds on weekends) or a pie-and-coffee break mid-morning or mid-afternoon. They make fabulous pies with mile-high meringue or ala mode.
